Bride

Struggling with a nasty seperation, I sought out  my friends for support.  My friend Pam invited my children, Abigail, Elijah, and Trinity and me over for a BBQ on a sunny Sunday afternoon.  She had invited others to her BBQ as well.  Steven, the love of my life, being one.  We had our dinner, talked, then Steve and I went for a walk - just around town.  He was charming, and we talked alot - which I really liked.  I wasn't used to men that talk. ;)  He pretty much told me his life story - everything about him - good and bad - over the next couple weeks.  While I struggled financially, he stepped in and supported the children and me.  I was in awe over this man.  I was wounded, not even sure I wanted anything to do with men in general, and he waltzes in, shows affection to not just me, but to my 3 kids too.  He provided where there were no provisions, and he told me he loved me - AND MY KIDS!  How could I not fall head over heels for him!!!  We both were very excited, but I was very scared too.  I was afraid to rush into anything.  I didn't even want him joking about sex.  I was backwards about it, and was afraid a new relationship would lead to the bed, and I knew I wasn't ready.  I thought for sure that knews was going to mean goodbye.  To my surprise, he was cool with that, said he would respect my opinion, and wouldn't bring it up.  That's when I fell head over heels in love with Steve.  That's when I knew he was for me.  I had never had a man respect me in that way - and I knew he wasn't just another guy, but the one I had always been searching for.  He completes me in every way.  I feel empty and void without him.  He is my soulmate and best friend.

Tanya's a great person.  I love being with her.  I've had the best times of my life with her.  She completes me.
